Caring for Country People

Uniting Country SA (UCSA) is a not-for-profit social and community services organisation operating in country South Australia. We provide services to families, single adults and children, who are experiencing difficulties such as domestic violence, disability and mental health issues, financial distress, homelessness, and family breakdown in country SA. With more than 55 services provided from 27 sites, we strive to improve our local communities.

In 2010 Uniting Country SA Ltd established a subsidiary, Uniting Country Housing Ltd.

Uniting Country Housing (UCH) is a community housing provider, committed to providing affordable housing options for people in our communities on a low to moderate income and who are having difficulty securing housing in the private rental market. There is a range of housing options available for singles, couples and families.  We work with a wide range of partner agencies to enable our tenants’ access to support services.

UCH properties are located in several regional areas of South Australia.

Our Services

UCSA and UCH’s services are tailored to the individual’s needs, and often include face-to-face case work, group work, advocacy and more. Our goal is to help our clients to learn and grow while giving them the tools they need to tackle many of the challenges they are facing. We support families, single adults and children, who are experiencing difficulties such as domestic violence, disability and mental health issues, financial distress, homelessness, and family breakdown in country SA.

Sites

UCSA and UCH operates out of 27 different sites and locations in regional South Australia. Each site is different, offering unique services and programs to support the needs of the community. Our sites can be found in Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Kadina, Whyalla, Clare, Peterborough, Port Lincoln, Coober Pedy, Ceduna and Indulkana.
